Squint in Canopy API and the Collect metadata helps to determine whether the satellite is looking directly broadside and whether it is looking forward or backward from broadside. A squint of 0 indicates a perfectly broadside collect, looking right. A squint of 180 indicates a perfectly broadside collect, looking left. A positive squint indicates that the collect is forward of broadside along the satellite travel vector. A negative squint indicates that the collect is backwards of broadside along the satellite travel vector.
